Well, the weekend is over, and I am still pregnant, even though my doctor said on Thursday that the baby could arrive as soon as this weekend. But, since I didn't end up in the hospital, Kevin and I were able to do a bunch of different things over the weekend.
On Friday night, I made curtains for the nursery. They are reversible, so that either side can be hung up. But, Kevin's drill is broken, so they aren't actually hung up yet. I'll post a picture of them after we hang them, as then they will look better than they do now, draped across the bed. :)
On Saturday, we had Sara's bachelorette party. I think that it turned out to be a pretty good time. I know I enjoyed myself.
On Sunday, Aunt Kathy stopped by to visit us for a while before heading off to a baby shower for a friend, and then Kevin's parents came to visit us for the rest of the afternoon. It was kind of a shame that they missed each other, and it was only by about a half an hour.
Other than that, the house is pretty clean and I think everything is pretty much ready for me to have the baby, so I'm just going to rest today. I might do some scrapbooking or I might work on a quilt that I have in progress. The only thing that I still need to buy is a baby book, but I don't know if I'm in the mood to go look around the store today. Maybe tomorrow. :)
