Connor has a very special love for all things that go "vroom vroom," and that includes the vacuum.
He spends a good amount of his "What should I do now?" time standing in front of the closet where I store my vacuum cleaner.
I will only vacuum each carpet in our home one time per day. This may seem like a lot to you and to me (who is doing all the vacuuming, by the way, and often with a baby on her hip), but it doesn't seem like enough to Connor.
So, yesterday, I was exploring other cleaning options with Connor, showing him the broom and making silly "broom broom" noises. :) Then, my parents called and said that they were on their way down for a visit because my dad had the day off due to the Columbus Day holiday.
And I didn't even have to run around the house to pick a single thing up before the came. The house was clean. All thanks to Connor.
I told you people always seem to pop in when the come to visit. I love it!

EVERYDAY!!! wow, and you don't even have a dog--you put me to shame--please send Connor over as my husband has informed me we can't afford a maid:) p.s. I bet your Indian Summer is warmer than ours:( I'm really going to miss it!
Hmmm. That is the opposite of what happens at my house. I run around to try and clean up, and Caroline is right behind me taking everything back out. And, I, too, am impressed that you vacuum every room every day.
Let me be clear about this - I only vacuum everyday because Connor begs and is so cute when he does it. Otherwise, I wouldn't. :)
