My cousin Pam has a bunch of Fisher Price Little People toys that her two girls have outgrown, and she has generously given some of them to Connor. I dusted them off and put new batteries in them yesterday, and they are like new! (Thank you, thank you, Pam!) Connor loves these new toys, and they are the only thing that he wanted to play with yesterday. Additionally, his Tonka cars and trucks, which are another favorite, are perfectly sized to go with the playsets.
Connor's two favorite stuffed friends right now are Elmo and Kitty. He pets the kitty as if it were alive, and he makes Elmo dance and play pat-a-cake.

For the hundredth time, I think today I'm going to go through the girls' toys--they have so much (though probably a lot less than many typical American households)--yet they play with so little! I think I'll have them help me decide what they'd like to donate to other children who are less fortunate, that'll be good for them! Also, our play room keeps switching from the basement to their bedrooms (they like change as much as I do:)--so today we move the playroom back downstairs:)
