Everyone is a Critic

I work downtown. I park downtown. My third floor parking space costs $168 per month. It is a transitional space, and my car is the first to be parked at an angle after cars park straight in. This means that I park parallel to the car on the left, at an angle to the wall, and at a 35 degree (or so) angle to the car on the right, rear bumper to rear bumper, practically. I've got a feeling that, as the transitional space, my parking space is smaller than the rest.

I found this note on my windshield when I was leaving work today.

Really?? Are you serious?? I checked, and I was within the yellow lines on both sides. WTF?!

I'm trying to come up with an appropriate response. But I don't even know if it is left-side-parking-neighbor or right-side-parking-neighbor who is the whiny-parking-jerk. Any ideas? What would you do?

My vote for the comment:

I think you already said it:
'WTF' Or, one other idea, tell him/her to "read between the lines." tee hee (love double meanings!)

That's as bad as in my old days when I was first married and moved up here, I kept my job in my hometown for a couple of more years (I guess I wanted to make sure I got my 10 yr service anniversary in:). Some days I would go to my childhood home and visit my mom, the dogs, and Buddy (that's why I did the commute so he wasn't neglected during the day)--anyway, I was turning left off a busy street to a side street, and an old man turned left out of a PARKING LOT into the busy street and nearly plowed into me--he clearly did not have the right of way and was very confused--but what was his response: he gave me the dirtiest look and started shaking his fist at me!!! Some people's children! (But at least I don't have to park next to him every day:)

Someone is obviously a crank. I would just ignore it and keep parking right between the lines. If you ever have some face-to-face meeting with your parking neighbors, you can make a lighthearted comment about the size of the space.
