for all information Julie-and-Lex related, then I am pleased to inform you that my doctor appointment went well.

My doctor believes that the baby will wait until October, as long as I don't overdo it again. She told me that I was free to resume my normal activities, just so long as I took it easy and didn't resume them all at once, or resume as many as I was doing two weeks ago when I started contracting.

The baby is growing according to schedule and is well positioned, and the fact that he is kicking me so hard that it often *really* hurts is a good sign. I think her exact phrase included the words "very vital kicking."

In addition, I have a mild case of tonsillitis involving the right tonsil. She isn't concerned about it and it will likely resolve on its own as I have no history of tonsillitis, but said that if I started to feel sick ("sick-sick and not pregnant-sick," her words, again), then I should call my general health care practicioner.

As of now, there are eight weeks and one day until October 8th! I'm really hoping that Lex is going to be my pumpkin baby!
