I was totally asleep this morning when Kevin was getting ready to leave the house, so he took care of getting Connor dressed.
The first time I saw Connor was after he had spent the entire day at daycare. Something wasn't quite right, so I asked Kevin, "Are these Connor's shorts?" He said that they were the same ones that he had put on him that morning.
Here's the rest of the conversation:
Julie: "I didn't know Connor had any shorts that tight."
Kevin: "Neither did I."
Julie: "Wait a minute. Those aren't Connor's shorts! Those are pants for Lex!"
Kevin: "Well, what were they doing in the laundry?"
Julie: "I had to wash them, they were new."
Kevin: "That explains why Connor's foot wouldn't even fit in the leg hole."
Julie: "The next time you find clothes that seem to small, check the tag."
Kevin: "Oh, this is going to be complicated for me."
Julie: "Sigh."
He somehow stuffed Connor, who weighs approximately 27 pounds, into a pair of Lex's newborn pants, meant for a baby who weights 5-8 pounds. Ugh.
