3 out of 4!

3 out of 4 of Connor's two-year molars have now appeared! And, I must say, it has been a relative non-event.

At dinner on three separate nights, Connor would bite down on something, and then cry out with a sharp cry that something was hurting in his mouth. Each time, after an investigation, we would discover a new molar. Twice, we went ahead and gave him some medicine, and he would go on with eating his dinner.

Last night, though, he wasn't really interested in dinner (white chili, which I thought was delicious, by the way), so he refused the medicine and just quit eating. He did eat some ice cream before bedtime, though.

What a difference being able to talk with him about his pain and problems makes! Teething would be so much easier if babies learned to talk first! (Well, except for the fact that teeth make talking easier...)

Teething may not upset Lex as much---I know teething really didn't bother either of my girls much at all (I know the molars didn't bother them)--all of a sudden the teeth were just sort of there. We may have rubbed stuff on a couple of times, but nothing stands out.

Bobo was a GREAT teether. She almost never cried or complained...so I thought I was prepared when Ace started getting teeth.

Wrong.

She is a BEAST! She is working on the 8th front tooth right now and it can't come through fast enough.
