Connor went ice skating for the first time this past Saturday, at his cousin's 5th birthday party.
Since it was his first time on skates, we put a helmet on him. Yes, we were those parents. And he didn't think anything was weird about it. Hockey players wear helmets, after all. In fact, he asked for a face mask, but I told him he didn't need one of those unless he was playing in a hockey game.
I didn't take too many pictures, because I put on skates and went out to hold Connor's other hand. Skating with a two year old wobbling between us was harder than Kevin and I remember skating to be, but we never fell down, and neither did Connor.
