in which we ended up on tv!

Did you hear? The tractors came to COSI!

We first got wind of this fantastic exhibit when we got an advertisement in the mail months ago. Months. For the past several months, Connor has been counting down until the tractors. Seriously. He has his own little calendar with special events on it, and he knew that the tractors were coming after his birthday, after Aunt Kathy's 4th of July party, and before his friend Caroline's birthday.

The tractors at COSI were a big deal. Much anticipated.

And they didn't disappoint.

This is just one of the little tractors parked in front of the building. A little taste of what was to come.

Connor, of course, was all dressed for the occasion, wearing one of his John Deere shirts and a John Deere hat. So, after we walked out onto the plaza where the rest of the tractors were, it took a camera crew about 30 seconds to zero in on us. Before he even got to climb up into the cab of the first giant tractor, Connor scored his first television interview!

We talked about his shirt and hat, and his love for tractors. We talked about our COSI membership and how often we visit. We told them about how Connor's recent birthday party was a John Deere party. And so we ended up on the news.

I haven't actually seen it, but my parents' saved it for us to see on their DVR. But, I was there when it was filmed, and that counts for something, right?
