Blooming

My crocuses, tulips, daffodils and periwinkle are already spent, but they all performed really well this spring. The large lilac bush in our backyard started blooming just before our last vacation, and was pretty much done by the time we got back, so we missed it. Everything seems to be blooming ahead of schedule this year.

Right now, my dwarf Korean lilac is blooming, and it is right in front of the living room window, so we've been keeping that window open whenever it isn't raining so that we can smell the lilacs in the house.

My wine and roses weigela is also in bloom, and I spotted a hummingbird hanging out by it yesterday.

We've also got blooms on our raspberry and blueberry bushes, and we've already got a bunch of green strawberries. My mint patch is doing *really* well, and I need to get it into a container soon.
