We Built Tee-Pees in the Backyard

We found a bunch of long sticks in our yard one morning after a windy night, and we decided to put them to good use - along with a Cars blanket and a blanket with skiing frogs on it that matches some jammies that Connor made me by for myself at Christmas this past year.

(Christmas jammies are important at our house. Don't laugh. You haven't seen the ice-skating reindeer ones yet.)

The hammer is a nice touch, Lex.
Who picks out his clothes?
Orange and red on a red-haired boy?

This is a happy kid.
He likes to pick out his own clothes.
He wanted plaid shorts.
I bought him a ton of plaid shorts.
Now he hates plaid shorts.
These plain shorts are from last summer.

Need a tee-pee taken down quick?
Call our demolition crew now!
They are the fastest around!

As quickly as those tee-pees went up, they came down even faster!

The End

P.S. Now I'm thinking about a cardboard pirate ship playhouse.
