You got a little sneak peek at Connor's room. Join me now for a more official tour.
Connor got a new bedding set for his birthday. (Thanks, Grandpa and Nana!) I really love how well it coordinates with the headboard that I made for him. And Connor really loves the dinosaurs. Even though it came with enough pillowcases and shams for four standard pillows, we're just using one for right now.
Since we have new dinosaur bedding, I found some good dinosaur bedtime books to read. We've been reading these before bed lately. Don't worry, Connor has some good dinosaur pajamas that he likes to wear, too.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you will step this way, you will see Connor's book case and closet, and a whole mess of Legos on the floor. We are working on a storage solution for those Legos at this very moment. In fact, we just purchased some Lego activity cases this afternoon for him to sort and store his Legos. Hopefully he will like them enough to keep his Legos picked up and put away when not in use.
Here is Connor's closet. He really likes to pick out his own clothes now, but he can't reach the ones hanging on the closet rod. I'm planning to buy some sort of second rod to hang lower so that he can reach his clothes better.
These two stuffed animals are the ones that Connor got for his birthday. The dinosaur actually roars if you squeeze him in the right spot. These are the friends that he gets tucked into bed with each night now. I love how the only two stuffed animals that Connor received at his Darth-Vader-Riding-a-T-Rex party are a Darth Vader and a T-Rex. That was totally unplanned, by the way.
Thanks for joining me on this little foray into Connor's room. I felt the need to document what it looked like when he was four years old, since he keeps growing and his room keeps changing. It seems like something in our house is always being rearranged.
