We used our COSI membership to visit the St. Louis Science Center. It was fabulous. It is a fabulous center, and with our COSI membership, we didn't have to pay for anything. Not even parking or special tickets to the preschool discovery room.
I thought that the science center did a good job with all of their exhibits about arches, given that we were in St. Louis. It only took us about 10 tries to build this arch, as Lex kept running over and knocking it over every time Connor and I were almost finished with it.
I thought that the perpetual motion ball contraption that we saw at the Ontario Science Center was huge. But then we found this one, which was enormous. Bigger than big. The boys loved it. Now Connor wants to build one that fills up our whole house.
The main science center building and planetarium building are connected by a skywalk that crosses a freeway. In the skywalk there are windows in the floor so that you can watch the cars zoom past below. There are also radar guns so that you can check how fast the cars are traveling.
