Columbus Museum of Art: Wonder Room

I took the boys to the Columbus Museum of Art because I was interested in seeing the Sirak Collection and the Caravaggio exhibition. They were cooperative and well behaved enough for a brief tour of both, but what they really enjoyed was the Don't Eat the Art exhibition, and the Wonder Room.

I've never been in the Wonder Room before, and we spent at least an hour playing there. There were all sorts of hands-on activities based on the art displayed.

We'll be going back for sure. We didn't even do all the hands-on activities in the Wonder Room, and there are other hands-on things for kids scattered throughout the other installations. We spotted several puzzles in other areas that were based on the paintings, and we played with a doll house that had paintings to be arranged on the walls inside. One of Connor's favorite things was a farmers' market board game in the Don't Eat the Art area. He wants to go back and play that again.
