Haunted Gingerbread House

Grandma Ella bought Lex (and Connor) a Haunted Gingerbread House kit.

Connor was very interested in decorating the house so that it would be worthy of a "number one prize."

Lex was very interested in eating candy and frosting.

Lex kept eating the gumdrops, and Connor kept recounting them to make sure that they were all there. Each time he counted, there were fewer gumdrops.

Connor got very mad at Lex for eating the candy before the house was decorated, so I ended up sending Lex away from the table for a few minutes so that we could get all the remaining candy onto the house.

After it was all decorated, we took some photos, and then we immediately declared that the house was ready to be eaten, and Lex wasted no time in resuming his eating of the yummy treats.

You can see Lex drooling over the candy in the photos. I swear I only made him wait a few minutes. But look how proud Connor is of the decorations.

Yes, Lex, you may eat it now.

Thanks! It actually was pretty tasty, too, except for the black licorice. I don't care for that!
