I made Hummus!
I made hummus tonight, and since I didn't bother to follow the recipe, I thought I should write down how I made it, you know, just in case I ever decide that I want to make it the same way again.
(I have this problem a lot. I start with a recipe, change it, make something incredible, and then cannot remember what I did, because there is no record for it.)
Without further ado, therefore, I am pleased to present my Own Original Recipe for Garlic Red Pepper Hummus.
Ingredients:
2 cups chickpeas
3 tbsp Key lime juice
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp diced garlic
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp red bell pepper flakes (plus more for garnish)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth.
Garnish with red bell pepper flakes.
