Oscar Nominations are In!

After reading through the list of the Oscar nominations, I am disappointed to see that I am not at all prepared for the awards show. I haven't seen anything! The only film nominated for Best Picture that I have seen is Midnight in Paris, and Kevin and I turned that one off halfway through. (So, no, that one definitely does not get my vote as the Best Picture of the year.)

At least I already have a few good dresses that I can wear to an Oscars Viewing Party.

What I need is some sort of movie-going and Netflix-rental game plan to make sure that I see the ones that I want to see before February 26th. Like The Artist, The Descendants, Hugo, My Week with Marilyn (at the movies now); Moneyball and The Help (Netflix). Oh, look, I have seen one! I have seen Bridesmaids! But where is Carnage? I've seen that one, too, and I figured it would get nominated for something!

Has anyone seen Hugo? It's rated PG, and I am wondering if it would be an okay movie to take the boys to go see. And Albert Nobbs? Did you see it? Should I?

Finally, here is the Official Nomination List!
