Hand-Made Valentine's Garland

I saw some cute hand-made Valentine's decorations on Pinterest. Okay, fine. I saw a ton of cute hand-made Valentine's decorations on Pinterest.

Disclaimer: I am fairly new to Pinterest. I've been hearing about it for ages, but I abstained for a long time, figuring that it would be addictive and time consuming. I finally caved in, and I was right. It is both addictive and time consuming. But it is also highly useful. I mean, the time I saved by not having to search for my favorite recipes from the Weekly Fresh Market Bag e-mails I receive each week was used to make some hand-made Valentine's decorations.

Like this striped origami heart garland I found.

I had hoped that Connor and Lex would help me make the origami hearts. I thought that it could be a fun arts and crafts project. But they wouldn't help me. I even tried to appeal to their more noble sensibilities, telling them that origami was an ancient and elegant art form. But they saw right through me, and figured it to be unpaid child labor, and I ended up making the whole thing by myself.
