Connor had to go potty when we were in the middle of nowhere. So, I sped up and pulled off at the next exit and ended up off-roading in some sort of preserve/game land at Canyon Diablo. Fortunately, we had rented a Ford Explorer with 4-wheel drive, so the rocky terrain and lack of paved roads wasn't a problem.
Sidebar: Kevin had reserved a Jeep Wranger 4 door Unlimited with the rental car company, but when we went to pick it up, there wasn't one waiting for us. He is still upset about that to this day. He may never get over it, actually.
Either Lex took this photo, or I set up the tripod while Connor and Daddy were exploring (read: finding a rock for Connor to pee on) and Lex was sleeping in his carseat. Also, this was the day that Connor and Lex lost their sunglasses. Look at poor Connor squinting! I still need to buy new sunglasses. Oh, and a replacement water bottle for Connor, but that's a different story.

That view is amazing!! What a great photo. THanks for stopping by my blog. You asked if I thought the razor big wheel would be appropriate for your five year old and my answer is yes! The model we have is supposed to shoot out sparks when you pull the break (it doesn't really work, thankfully!) and it's for ages 6+, but the normal model said ages 3+. My children love it, but our younger neighbors love it, too.
