In which we go to the Adler Planetarium

You can file this one away under "7th Anniversary Stories from Chicago."

Okay, so we went to the Adler Planetarium.  We saw a preschool-oriented planetarium show about the Sun, Earth and Moon that was narrated by a mischievous coyote.  Connor laughed out loud so many times.  It was hilarious.  And educational.  They had a really good sense of what would appeal to a four year-old.  Lex?  Well, he feel asleep during the show.  And for the record, so did Kevin.

After our planetarium show, we got some lunch in their Galileo's Cafe.

Sidebar:  I ordered a bowl of chili off of the menu, and was directed to a self-serve soup station, where there was no chili.  This started a weekend-long quest for a bowl of chili for me.

So after our chili-less, but still very yummy, lunch, we explored the hands-on museum for a bit.

P.S.  We were able to use our COSI membership to get in here, as well.
