Picture Book of the Week

Both Connor and Lex have a new favorite book. Oscar and the Very Hungry Dragon.  I have been reading this book several times a day for the past week or so now.  It's a great book.  It's another fairy tale for boys.  One with absolutely no princesses.

Here's how the story starts:

"The earth shook and trembled.  The great dragon was awake and very hungry.  It was time to feed him a princess.  But no princess was available."

See?  No princesses.  The story is entertaining, and the illustrations are fabulous!  Connor has started to notice all sorts of little details in the drawings that he missed the first few dozen times he read the book.
