My Brother Got Married: Ceremony Photo Dump

I think I might have more photos of the ring bearers than I do of the happy couple.
But can you blame me?
I cannot imagine another occassion when these two are going to be outfitted in white tuxes.
You know, like, ever, again.

Did I ever mention to you the panic attack that I had two weeks before the wedding when we went to get them fitted for their tuxes - yes we waited until the last minute because these boys grow like weeds - and found out from the nice ladies at Men's Warehouse that my brother and his lovely bride-to-be had ordered that my little boys be dressed in white from head to toe?  I was so certain that I would have to pay for these tuxes after they were totally ruined.

Ah - but look how nice they look in all white:

In order to keep them clean after they were dressed and before the wedding actually took place, we hung out in the church nursery, which had plenty of toys and a TV with a DVD player.  I had a bunch of DVDs with me, so we ended up watching Scooby Doo.  This room actually drew quite a crowd before the ceremony, and there were more grown ups than kids watching Scooby.

After the photographer had taken photos of the boys and flower girls in the sanctuary, she asked if she could take all the little kids outside for some cute outside photos.  I said no.  I cannot imagine how dirty they would have gotten out in the gravel lot and grass, but I am sure that if I would have let her, they would have walked down the aisle with grass-stained knees.  I suggested that she wait until after the ceremony, but we never got back around to it.

My husband made a very handsome usher.

My Mom, and some silliness.

My brothers, with more silliness.

These two were totally cute.
And so much trouble.
Don't let them fool you.

This photo cracks me up.

My Dad and I

This is how we roll.
One kid has the IPad.  The other has the Nook Color.
What else are you supposed to do when they can't get dirty and have to wait around for hours?
I don't know.  But it worked.

Men's Warehouse took the tuxes back without me having to pay anything more than the required damage waiver of $7 per tux.

And everyone lived happily ever after.

P.S.  Stay tuned for reception photos.  And some day, I will get a copy of the family photos taken by the wedding photographer.  You might get to see those, too.
