My Brother Got Married: Reception

Chris and Suzanne had a very casual reception. The catering was done by Missouri Hick BBQ. There was pulled pork and chicken, and some brisket. All served with about a dozen different types of sauce. I chose a nice brisket with some "Sweet and Smokey" BBQ sauce. It was delicious. DELICIOUS.

Sidebar:  Fearing for the combination of all those BBQ sauces and my little tykes in white tuxes, they changed their outfits before the reception began.

 The Wedding Party
At the time of this photo, only half the girls had switched to their boots.
Soon after this, they all had.

Kevin

Lex with his new LEGO Hero Factory Hero Nex.
Julius Nex.
No, we didn't name him ourselves, but I don't think we could have come up with a better name.

Connor with his new LEGO Ninjago Venomari Shrine

Sidebar:  I am *apparently* not above bribery.  In order to secure the complete cooperation of the boys at the rehearsal and during the ceremony, we had gone to the LEGO store the day before we left for the wedding and picked out prizes that they would receive after the wedding, if and only if they did a good job and cooperated and so on.  It worked like a charm.

Wedding Cake
I mean, obviously

Lex dancing the Cha-Cha Slide.
He is totally airborne.

Connor break dancing.
He's so serious about it, he took off his shoes.

Daddy's girl.
He deserves credit because it is a particularly nice shot.
