Location: Deer Creek State Park, Ohio
File this one under: Things we did in September. I can't believe how much we crammed into September. So much that I am still blogging about it in late October.
Our trusty Coleman tent. And Coleman camping/tailgating grill. We're nothing if not Coleman campers.
Connor's camping snack of choice? Pringles.
Lex's camping snack choice: Goldfish crackers.
Served in a Solo Cup, natch.
Me.
In my Camping Hoodie purchased on a camping trip at Lake Higgins.
Lex and Daddy roasting marshmallows. It went really well. The only problem was later that night when the sun went down and Lex threw a glow-in-the-dark necklace into the fire. The chemicals in it really smelled bad when they burned.
Connor and I played baseball at our campsite while Daddy and Lex roasted marshmallows.
The weather was perfect that evening and the next morning. It did get pretty cold that night, but we managed to stay warm enough with our good sleeping bags and warm clothes. This was my first time camping in the fall, and I think I liked it almost better than camping in the summer heat.
