Connor + Football + Jammies

Here is Connor's little football reference display for the 2012 season:

He has the entire regular season schedule posted, with the teams split up into their divisions.


Here is the map that he made showing the location of all 32 NFL team stadiums.



He plays with this Steelers ball all day, every day.  The most often heard phrase in our house is probably, "Where is my Steelers ball?"

This is a diagram he drew during one such imaginary game.  Picture in your mind a small child running through the house and yelling football commentary, throwing and catching a ball to himself, diving on the ground, and then running over to this chalkboard to make a mark indicating what play just happened, and whether or not it resulted in a touchdown, field goal or interception.

One of my favorite things I ever heard him say while doing commentary for one of these imaginary games was, "It's fourth and gotta-do-it."  He also makes up the most incredible names for the other players in the games. 

According to Connor, this game was between Ohio State and Missouri, and Mizzou won.

He still loves pajamas, and would wear them all day every day if I would let him.  What is odd is that he isn't wearing any of his football themed pajamas in these photos, because he does have a few sets, and he wears them all the time.
