But, let's begin with the beginning:
Outside the stadium is a courtyard that is a full-sized football field, with fountains for the end zones. Connor enjoyed running the 100 yards between the fountains.
Posing outside the Georgia Dome.
The view of the field from the press box.
Inside a luxury suite.
Connor found a seat that he liked on the mezzanine level.
The Georgia High School Football Wall of Fame.
Each high school team that makes the state playoffs is invited to send in a football helmet for display.
A view of the dome. I believe that the tour guide said it was the largest cable supported dome in North America. Or something like that. My fact checker was busy chasing Lex around so that he wouldn't get into trouble. He wanted to get onto the field, and he was going to stop at nothing to get down there. Staying with the tour guide? He wasn't interested in that so much.
Inside the Falcons team showers.
The locker room.
Finally, we made it to the field. Connor was so excited that he just took off running for the end zone:
Then, we got down to the business of flipping on the 50 yard-line. Connor did it first:
And then Lex wanted to flip, too.
I love it when Connor runs past and yells "Look out!" in this video. I must confess to watching it over and over and over because that is just so funny to me.
Current Status of the NFL Stadium Project:
