The boys and I drove down to Atlanta. It turns out that it is a pretty easy drive from Columbus. We left in the morning, and we were at LEGOLAND by 2:30 or 3:00 PM. The entire drive (after you leave Ohio) is on Interstate 75 South, which is three lanes and 70 mph, so very smooth indeed.
And so, the boys' first request after being in the car all morning was a trip to LEGOLAND Atlanta. Not so unpredictable. They loved the LEGOLAND we took them to in Dallas.
They were trying to steal Merlin's wand. They weren't successful.
They seemed surprised.
The Merlin's Apprentice Ride
We also rode the Kingdom Quest ride over and over and over again. It was the same ride we rode in Dallas over and over and over. There were a few similar things here to the LEGOLAND in Dallas, like that ride, and the Merlin's Apprentice Ride, but there were a lot of new and different things, too. Like MINILAND. There was a MINILAND in both locations, but since they are based on the city its in, they were totally different. Which is kind of neat.
A replica of the Olympic Torch in MINILAND
And the Georgia Dome:
This was one of Connor's favorite things. It was actually a game that you could play, pushing buttons to control the movement of the mini figure football players.
The last thing we did was watch a LEGO Racers movie in 4D. It snowed on us during the movie. It was really neat.
All in all, we had a spectacular time!

that's so funny that you were at Legoland Atlanta, at the same time as we were in the one in Orlando/Cypress Gardens:D
Can't wait to check our your photos!
