It's Time for Soccer

It's soccer season over here again.  And this year Connor is in a new league.  It's a U6 league, so all the kids are under the age of 6.  Connor is one of the older kids on his team, since he turns 6 almost as soon as the season is over.

Sidebar:  When did he get to be almost 6 years old?!

Anyways, this is the first time that Connor has been old enough to have actual games, with separate practices.  So instead of just one day of soccer per week that was a combined practice and game day, he now has practice on one weeknight, and a game every Saturday morning.  That's two days of soccer for Connor each week.  Add in Lex's soccer, and we are doing soccer-related activities three days a week all of the sudden!

Connor loves it, of course.  He has always loved soccer, and this is his fourth season.

Lex can't wait for his season to start.  He has been sitting on the sidelines and watching Connor, and then going off to play with either Kevin or I on one of the unused fields.

Connor's team is called the Blue Magic.  Go Blue Magic!
