He really wanted to be on the blue team, so when we arrived for soccer, he asked to be blue, and got onto the blue team. Easy peasy mac-n-cheesy is what he would say.
Just like Lex sits on the sidelines during Connor's soccer practices and games, Connor sat on the sideline and cheered for Lex.
Lex had a wonderful time!

Lex is part of the same Hummingbirds soccer program that both he and Connor did last year. The kids are all 3 to 4 and a half years old. (Well, they are supposed to be, but we all know I talked them into letting Connor and Lex play when they were almost 5 and 2.)
They play for an hour, and most of that time is spent playing soccer-related games, like follow the leader or red-light, green-light. Only the last 10 to 15 minutes is spent playing an actual game of soccer. And that part is the most unorganized of all.
