Yesterday was Connor's last day of Kindergarten.
I've actually been done with all the work books and weekly themes that I had planned for him for Kindergarten since before Memorial Day, but he wasn't quite done with his ABC Mouse online program yet. He was very close to being done, and I tried to convince him so many times to just sit down and knock it out. But, the kid can be a stickler for rules and he liked his routine, so he just wanted to do one set of lessons per day, just the same as usual.
And wouldn't you know it, that approach worked! So, I let him continue on, and I knew that his last day was coming up.
To mark the occasion, we took a field trip to see the Paul Brown Stadium, which is the home of the Cincinnati Bengals. I realized that we hadn't been there yet, and it is close enough for a quick afternoon trip.
We were going to do a tour of the stadium, based on the information that I read on their website. However, when we arrived, we discovered that said information wasn't entirely accurate and there were no tours to be had. We did get to walk around the gift shop, though, and look out through the gift shop windows into the stadium.
