Once he was finished he said that he was going to take a two week break from homeschooling, and that he would start First Grade on his 6th birthday.
Yes, he will be six in two weeks.
I had almost forgotten that he wanted to start his kindergarten program as soon as he turned five. He believes that school age and actual age match up without any of this waiting for September business. And since he is homeschooled there is really no reason to wait.
But how does he come up with these plans? A two-week vacation? That's so typical. For an adult.
So, here's to First Grade starting in about two weeks? I mean, here's to First Grade, starting in about two weeks!
