We ate lunch at Red Robin with my Dad. Each of the boys got a balloon as we were leaving. When we got home, they both wanted me to tie a LEGO minifigure to their balloon string. I thought that they were doing it to weigh the balloon down. They were actually hoping that the balloon would make the LEGO guy fly. Of course, that didn't work. After they got over their disappointment, they decided to tie two balloons to one LEGO guy to try to make him fly. I was super proud of them for their scientific method, and for working together and sharing the balloons. But dang it if LEGO minifigures aren't super heavy, I mean, for being so small. We are gonna need some more helium around here, and stat!

Lex has finally decided what prize he would like for completing his next eye patch chart. He has asked for a magic horn like the one that Santa gave to Susan in the Chronicles of Narnia, so that he can go outside and blow his horn and have his best friend Logan appear whenever he wants to play. I'm not exactly sure how I'm to go about buying the kid a magic horn, but fortunately I have a little bit of time to figure something out.

Connor finished reading the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and he talked Nana into getting him the movie on DVD to watch. We just started with The Silver Chair last night. Disney hasn't made that one into a movie yet, but I remember seeing The Silver Chair on BBC or Masterpiece Theater or something when I was a kid, so I'm going to have to look that movie series up, too.
