This past weekend while Kevin and I were at that camping wedding I mentioned earlier, Connor and Lex went with their grandparents to Aunt Kathy and Uncle Tom's annual 4th of July party.
While I was sad that we missed it, I was super glad to see this photo on my phone when we re-entered civilization post-camping:
Even though we were hundreds of miles away from each other, we were all at hog roasts.
Oh, and I totally forgot to tell you earlier about the Chinese lanterns! There were so many awesome interesting details at Sean and Evelyn's wedding that I can't keep track of them. Apparently.
But, I had always wanted to do Chinese lanterns, and so I was really excited that they planned this as a part of their wedding weekend:
P.S. Those things really burn! If you do it wrong, you can totally set yours on fire and it will not fly. Kevin and I launched ours successfully, but then we saw one burning on the ground. We tried to salvage it, but it was too far gone.
P.S. #2 In case you didn't get enough photos of Tom & Kathy's party (since I didn't take any this year, because I was too busy not being there), you can re-live last year's party here.
