Connor spent some of his birthday money on another Pokemon theme deck.
Here is the info so that we can rebuild this deck if he ever wants to:
Tonight I took him to a local Pokemon league. It was his very first time playing Pokemon with someone other than family.
First he played the league coordinator, who wanted to make sure that he understood the rules of the game. Connor did very well, showing that he knew all the rules, and even winning the game!
Then, he played a couple of rounds against the only other little kid who was there.
You see, I had unknowingly taken him to an adult league night. There are others that are more geared towards children, so we will take him to a different one next time and see if he likes that better. I think he might like one where he can make friends his own age, since he doesn't have any in Texas yet.
This league is pretty great, though, since it meets at a Cici's Pizza. All-you-can-eat pizza and brownies and Pokemon might be hard to beat. Even if he has to play Pokemon against grown ups. We shall see.
