Happy Birthday, Dear Kevin!

Today is Kevin's birthday.  We celebrated at home, and we made him a cake.

Connor and Lex got into a fight at the supermarket about the flavors of cake and icing, but in the end, they settled on chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, which is not Kevin's favorite.  Sorry, Daddy.  Then they picked out the candles.  One wanted number candles and one wanted regular candles.  And no, I don't think there are actually 33 candles on the cake, either.

We bought Kevin a new Houston Texans football shirt, and a new big tool chest for the garage.  Which is what he wanted.  Well, not the shirt.  He didn't ask for that, but Connor wanted to buy it for him anyway.

And picking out the tool chest at Home Depot was fun, too.  Connor and Lex pushed the big box that it came in from one end of the store to the other, because it was too big and heavy to pick up an put in a cart.  I could have gotten assistance from a Home Depot employee, I suppose, but they wanted to do it themselves.  So they did.

And now, without further ado, I am pleased to present a birthday video:

Happy Birthday, Honey!
