In which Connor learns to ride a bike without training wheels

This is the week that Connor and Daddy decided that it was time for Connor to learn to ride a bike without training wheels.

I still can't get over the fact that it is late November and the weather is perfect for this kind of outdoor activity.  Why do people bother living in Ohio?  Come and ride bikes with us in Texas in November!

Well, Daddy promised to take Connor to the store and buy him a new bike as soon as he mastered his old one without training wheels.  Connor thought that sounded like a pretty good deal, so he was game.

Lex thought it sounded good, too, because as soon as Connor gets a new bike, he is going to start riding Connor's old bike.  He's tired of the balance bike and wants one with pedals now.

It took a few days of practice, but I think it's safe to say that Connor figured the whole thing out.  Some days Daddy helped him, some days I helped him, and even Papa Kirk got to help him a few times, too.

This video is of him riding with Papa Kirk.  Lex is scootering along so that he doesn't miss out on the fun.  The boys love their scooters, too.
