In which we rode the Seattle Great Wheel

Somehow on Friday night we ended up down by Pike Place Market and the piers on the sound.  We played in the arcade for a while, and then the kids said that they wanted to ride the huge Ferris wheel.

Behold, the Seattle Great Wheel.

Just before we got on the Ferris Wheel, we got to see the Thanksgiving Fireworks display that was going on downtown.  I love unexpected fire works.



The ride was great.  We had a great view of the city at night, but the sound was mostly just a pool of black.  We could see the Space Needle and the Seahawks Stadium, though.



The top of the Space Needle was lit up to look like a giant Christmas tree was on top.
