(Love may not be a strong enough word.)
Perhaps, they are obsessed with it.
I've been trying to limit the amount of time that they spend playing it every day, you know, so that they go outside and see the sunshine and breathe fresh air. Ride bikes. Eat. All those things.
So of course it's the first thing they do when they wake up in the morning. They try to wake up before me and sneak the iPad and my phone so that they can play local server Minecraft together.
But then I wake up and put Lex's eye patch on. From that time, they get two hours of Minecraft fun.
Fortunately, Lex's love of Minecraft trumps his dislike of his eye patch, so we don't have any more kicking and screaming, pinning the four-year-old down to put the eye patch on days any more.
Which I am happy about.
(Happy may not be a strong enough word.)
So that's why, when it was time to go pick out a new eye patch reward prize for Lex, it simply had to be Minecraft-related.
He was so excited that he asked me to take this photo and text it to some of his friends, right away.
