We had his party this weekend. He had almost exactly the same party that Connor had this summer, which was exactly what he wanted.
He had a Ninja Turtles party at Xtreme Lazer Tag with a chocolate cake.
We ate pizza and cake and played lazer tag!
We also played ping pong...
...and of course there were presents...
One of his friends got him a battery-powered machine-water-gun. Daddy helped him ambush Connor and I later that night while we were laying in bed reading a story, and Connor's bed got a little bit wet. Fortunately, Connor was so tired after the party that it didn't even matter.
This morning, Lex opened his presents from family. Bright and early.
He got LEGO stuff and Pokemon cards (two EXs, one of which was his favorite Pokemon ever - Charizard EX! which is super lucky) and a new video game that both he and Connor have been asking for. Then he got all things Minecraft, including an account so that he can play on the internet on public servers.
So, this morning, the kids had leftover chocolate cake for breakfast, played Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze on the Wii, and now they are building together on Minecraft.
Happy 5th Birthday, Lex! We love you!
