The kids love Minecraft, and it is endlessly adaptable, so I am always trying to think up ways to use it for homeschool. The kids have even started of thinking of their own homeschool-related Minecraft projects.
Just today Connor decided that he wanted to build a pilgrim settlement for Thanksgiving on Minecraft. The funny thing is that I had been planning to have him do that, but I hadn't suggested it to him before he thought of it himself. Great minds think alike.
Anyways, this is a bar graph that Connor constructed representing the wins and losses for each of the teams in our Fantasy Football league. He updates it weekly.
And this is a rainbow that he constructed as part of our science curriculum. Our Magic School Bus monthly science kit this month is all about light, shadows and rainbows.
