We were at the library this afternoon, and I was selecting books for the subjects that we are going to be studying next. A cute little girl who was probably about 3 or 4 years old stopped me, and she told me that I was doing it wrong. I had too many books. According to this cute little girl, I was only allowed to take 4 books at a time.
I told her that we did things a little bit differently, because we use a lot of books.
These are our books for the next two weeks:
What is all this? Why, I'm so glad you asked!
Here we have some picture books relating to mice and families, which are the weekly themes for Lex's kindergarten for the next two weeks. Also, we have books about the sun and stars, which are the themes for Connor's science unit. We also got some Magic School Bus books that go along with the Magic School Bus science kits that we have ready to go. And some picture books about multiplication and division for Connor. Books about Groundhog's Day. Because the groundhog is coming, people. And a few books that just caught my eye.
I figure that if I can carry all the books, I can check them out.
