Wonderland

Yesterday was Kevin's company picnic, which was at a park next to Wonderland.  After the picnic part was over, they gave us all passes to Wonderland so that we could take our hot and sticky children and let them spin around until they were sick.

But I'm getting ahead of myself here.  And no one really got sick.

Summer Fun

Lex did get a Sonic the Hedgehog ice cream popsicle with gumball eyes.

Summer Fun

Apparently it was delicious.  And messy.

Summer Fun

Even after we cleaned him up, he was still blue for some time.  Our little Smurf, he was.

Summer Fun

Since it was 100 degrees, with a UV index of 9, we found a bit of shade for a moment.  And a bit of skee-ball!

Sidebar:  I think we used an entire can of sunscreen while we were there.  A UV index of 9 is serious burn business!

Summer Fun

Sidebar Again:  They earned 60 some odd tickets, but they didn't buy anything with them at the ticket counter.

Summer Fun

The kids rode on the Frog Hopper, and they rode a little boat ride.

Summer Fun

Lex had wanted to ride in the boat with us, because there were four steering wheels, which is one for each of us, but then we pointed out that Mommy and Daddy wouldn't even fit in the boat.

Summer Fun

Then he was happy to have an entire boat to himself.

Summer Fun

We also rode a hot air balloon ride, which was awesome.  And we rode one of the smaller roller coasters in the park.  Lex is waiting to grow another four inches, so that he will be tall enough for all the roller coasters at Wonderland.
