Perot Museum of Nature and Science

This wasn't our first visit to the Perot Museum.  Since we had been there before, the kids had very definite ideas about what they wanted to see and do.  Basically, it was all of their favorite things from last time.

Like battling remote control robots:

Connor wrote "YEAH" on a computer and then it ended up here:

Lex did his name:

We rode inside this simulator, where we were shrunk down to the size of a golf ball, and then we took a tour of a hydraulic fracturing well.  Well, not really.  But it was fun.

This geode is huge.  Connor loves geodes.

Of course, the dinosaur exhibits are always a favorite.

The boys love this game where you create different dinosaurs and then battle them against each other.

I made sure we stopped in the outer space area, since we had been studying that in school.

And here are some of our favorite birds:

The Greater Prairie Chicken.  There are road signs up around where we live with this bird's silhouette on them.  When you see them on the signs, they look like bunny-birds.  It's pretty funny.

A woodpecker.  For Connor.

Peregrine Falcon.  Another favorite animal around here.

And the kids love this game where they use their bodies to fly like birds on the screen.  This was another must-do on our return trip to this museum.

Connor conquered the Leap Frog Forest!

So did Lex!  Obviously.
