Island Christmas

This year we went to the beach for Christmas.  It was The Best Christmas Ever.  Look for us on the beach again next Christmas, because it was wonderful, and we want to do it again.  Like every year.



Road trip!  We packed up all the presents, and even a smallish Christmas tree, and hit the road for warmer climates.



Yeah, we packed a lot into that SUV.  And the car top carrier.  And the hitch haul.



We found an awesome BBQ place in Junction, Texas called Cooper's.

We finally made it to our hotel on South Padre Island.  It was dark, but the hotel had put up Christmas lights and decorations.

Christmas lights on palm trees just seems right to me.

First order of business?  Hit the pool!
