Ride the Ducks

The first thing we did in Philadelphia was Ride the Ducks.

In case you aren't familiar with The Ducks, they are amphibious tour buses.  We toured the city first, and then we toured the Delaware River.  It was a perfect way to start our trip.  I always love it when we take a tour of a city that we've never been to as the first part of our trip, because the rest of the trip always turns out so much better.

These dragons are in Chinatown.

This gate is in Chinatown, too.  It was very pretty.

Philadelphia City Hall.  This building is massive.  We walked around it later, so stay tuned for that.

Another Rocky statute.  This one is in front of the Art Museum, where he ran up those steps in the movie.

The Art Museum.  We visited this one evening later in our trip, but it is so large that we barely scratched the surface.  You could spend days here.

Under the Ben Franklin Bridge.  The far shore is New Jersey.

Connor sat next to me.  He was trying to look around without getting the sun in his eyes.

At the end of the tour, we all got duck noise makers.  It was a great tour!
