Dear Diary,

I went outside to play with my boys.  They were whacking each other with plastic pipes again.  I wonder if their mother knows they do that when they go outside?  I don't really mind, because then they don't pay close attention to me, and I can find and eat all the field mice.  Well, except now it's on video and they might notice that.  Oh well.  They should thank me for getting rid of the mice, probably.  Wouldn't want them to sneak inside.  Yeah, that's my story.
