They are all the best. The pictures are beautiful and the stories are imaginative.
In this book, The Night Our Parents Went Out, two little kids imagine all the trouble that their parents could get into on their date night. They have very active imaginations, but their babysitter helps them to calm down. Except, it could all have been real.
In this one, Please, Open This Book!, the animals are stuck inside, and it's up to us to let them out!
As the titular Postmouse makes his rounds in Mr. Postmouse's Rounds, we get to explore the insides of all the various animal homes. The illustrations are delightful.
In Lenny & Lucy, a little boy moves to a new home in the dark and scary woods, and he creates some new guardian friends to keep him safe.
