In which we ate all the desserts at the Fairmont Hotel, because Sean Connery said it was okay

One night while we were in San Francisco, we watched The Rock in our hotel room, because Alcatraz.

Have you seen it?  Do you recall that Sean Connery's character demands a suite at the Fairmont Hotel before he agrees to help get Nicholas Cage onto the island?  Well, we were staying at the Hilton in Chinatown, and it was lovely, but we decided that we needed to check out the Fairmont after watching that movie.

We ended up at the restaurant in the hotel, even though we had already had dinner.  No matter, we decided to get dessert.  There were only four desserts on the menu, and since there are four of us, we ordered them all.

All of them were the most delicious desserts ever made.  It was one of the most fun and spontaneous things we did on our trip.  Going to a restaurant just for dessert is always fun.  And ordering every dessert on the menu makes it that much better.
