Mount Rushmore

Of course, while we were in South Dakota, we stopped to check out Mount Rushmore.









Before we got to the actual monument, we stopped to do a little rock climbing in the park.

Things to do at Mount Rushmore:

1.  Hike
2.  Look at the monument
3.  Take lots of photos
4.  Eat ice cream
5.  Visit the gift shop
6.  Explore the museum
7.  Watch the movie about the construction of the monument

(We could have had dinner there, but we had already done that at the Crazy Horse monument.)



We all got hot fudge Oreo sundaes from the ice cream shop.

The more photos we took, the sillier the boys got in them.





It's really a wonderful thing to go see.  I'm really glad we took the boys to visit Mount Rushmore.
