Texas!

We finally managed to get to see Texas, the outdoor musical that takes place down in the Canyon.  This is our third summer here, and we have been meaning to go every year.  This year, we finally bought tickets, to the last show of the season.  We sat in the very front row, in the very center.  It might have been too close, actually, but it was quite an experience.

Before the show, while we were checking out the concessions and gift shop, the boys took turns riding a horse.

I didn't take any photos or videos of the show.  It was great, though.  The canyon is the scenery, and it is beautiful.  There are horses and cowboys and Indians and gun fights and lightning strikes and fireworks and water fountain light shows.

Texas!

This isn't a great photo, but it says Texas.  It's lights projected onto a fountain display.

Since the show starts around sundown, it didn't finish until 11:00 PM.  The kids loved it, but they were a smidge tired.  They both fell asleep in the car before we had even gotten out of the canyon.
